    Updated July 26, 2013

Russian Bulochki are similar to piroshki, except they are baked instead of fried. By being formed into knots, it causes the layers to twist into different directions, resulting in a very unique dough texture.

I enjoy trying baked goodies and am always on a lookout for great bakeries. This recipe does require a bit...

Those are definitely addictive; if you have them in the house they seem to call your name the whole time... :/ This is original Polish recipe so I can't take this credit to us Ukrainians :)
My favorite part about this Rogaliki was the fact that they were with poppy seeds. This idea I got from friend of my. She posted picture of her rogaliki with poppy seeds on Facebook and I soon started...

This is my sisters recipe for Oreshki, she is a really good baker (Makes the best Pyana Vishnya Cake, I got to post it one day).
So we came over to her house and we ate whole lot and took some home. It’s perfect for me because if I had them at home it would be me and my older son eating most of them (check him out in picture). I completely have no self-control when it comes to bakes...

An idea for this dessert came from one of the foodnetwork magazine. Besides pinterest, instagram and bloggers, I often look trough magazines for food ideas.

This little treat has everything I love, a nice strong shot of coffee, ice cream, hazelnuts and topped with dark chocolate. After having affogato I always get a nice kick of energy.

    Updated March 11, 2013.

I love baked goodies. This is my go to recipe when I am trying to eat a bit healthier. Not that I am suggesting this as a healthy dish.

Oatmeal cookies are filling and so delicious. I like both versions, butter or applesauce. The ones with butter are more crunchy, while the ones with applesauce are a little chewy.

  • Black Tie Mousse

Every time we go to Olive Garden I promise myself that I will save space for dessert but nope, never happens. I had horrible chocolate craving, I just wanted to load myself with dark chocolate, and I don’t really have sweet tooth. All my hard work paid off at around 10pm when I was eating this huge slice of cake, it was all worth it. I loved this cake. It does take little more time and has...

  • Honey Chocolate Roll

I found this recipe on one of the Russian recipe websites. I always struggled with rolls; they would break and never stay together. This roll is very moist; cake is so soft. Great roll to make when you don’t have much time on your hands.
