Piroshki - Three Ways Recipe

Instructions 

Way One
Roll out the dough into a rectangular shape. Apply poppy seeds to the dough and roll the dough into a jelly roll. Cut the roll into 4 inch pieces, cut each piece twice to the middle, leaving edges to hold the dough together.
Place each pastry two inches apart from each other on a baking sheet lines with parchment paper. Cover it with a kitchen towel, leavening them to rise for about 30 minutes. Using a small bowl, whisk egg with sugar; glaze each bun with egg mixture. Bake in preheated oven, at 350F, for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Way Two

Way Three
Form dough into a four inch round shape, place the filling in the middle. Fold over all sides and seal the filling.
Using your hand, flatten the dough. Using a sharp knife, cut four pieces that are going to the middle. Add another four cuts but shorter in length. Pull twe cut pieces together, leaving the shorted cut in the middle, pinch two pieces together. Repeat with all other pieces.
