Quick Apple Turnovers  (Only 5 Ingredients)

Take a bite into these mouth-watering apple turnovers. They are delicately crunchy as you bite in, filled with a sweet, tart flavor of fresh apples and lightly topped with delicate flavor of sugar.

Ingredients

– medium apples – puff pastry – sugar – egg

Prepare all ingredients for the apple turnovers.

STEP 1

Peel and slice apples into 8-10 pieces and set aside.

STEP 2

Roll out the pastry dough on a floured surface. Cut the pastry sheet into 9 equal pieces. Into the middle of each piece, place 4-5 pieces of apples, a spoonful of sugar into each one.

STEP 3

Fold the dough over the apples, forming little pockets from it. Place each pie on a lined baking sheet. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl. Brush each pie with the whisked eggs, sprinkling them with some sugar.
