Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 6 corn tortillas, flour tortillas or taco shells
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1 cup mexican cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions

  • Preheat a frying pan on medium-high heat. Add beef to the pan and season with taco seasoning. Stir beef frequently, ensuring to break it apart as it cooks.

  • Place cooked beef in a bowl and set it aside. Chop, prepare and gather all your toppings.

  • Preheat tortillas on a stovetop or in the microwave. Add ground beef, followed by cheese and toppings of choice.

  • Serve tacos right away!

Notes

Note: if you like the ground beef with a little more sauce in it. You can add 1/2 cup of tomato sauce towards the end of the cooking time.
