Easiest Roasted Turkey Recipe

The "awesomest" part of this recipe is that it is so easy to make and will turn out perfect, I can almost guarantee you. So, go for it, hit up a party at your crib and impress everyone by baking this giant chicken (that's what my son calls it)!

  • You would need to purchase turkey several days before. Let turkey defrost, remove turkey giblets(Tip: Giblets make delicious broth for rice or a noodle soup).

  • Dice onion into large chunks. Using salt and pepper, rub it all over the turkey, you can even go under the skin. Stuff it with onion pieces. (Tip: Don't worry about over-seasoning, over the period of a few days, the seasoning will soak inside the meat and the flavor will be spread evenly.)

  • Combine mayonnaise with garlic parsley salt. Rub turkey with the sauce mixture and cover it with a plastic wrap. Let the turkey marinate for at least 48 hours. (Tip: This marinating process with mayonnaise will provide great moisture to the turkey, making it come out moist.)

  • Remove the excess marinate and onions from the turkey, drain any extra juices. Clean and chop the carrots into large chunks. Stuff the turkey with cooked rice and carrot pieces.

  • Bake the turkey at 400F for 90 minutes, turn the heat down to 350F and bake the turkey for another 3 hours. (Tip: It is very important to bake the turkey inside a turkey roasting pan or an oven bag)
