Ingredients

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • To a medium-sized pot, add water, rice and salt. Bring it to a boil.
    Rice with water in a pot.
  • Cover the pot with a lid, turn the heat to low, and let the rice simmer for 12 minutes (don't open the lid or stir the rice).
    Pot with a lid on a stove top.
  • Remove the rice from heat and keep the lid on. Allow the rice to cool for 10-15 minutes.
    Pot with a lid on.
  • Fluff the rice with a fork. Enjoy!
