Easy Blackberry Cobbler Recipe

This blackberry cobbler is made with a sweet blackberry-lemon filling and topped with sugary buttermilk biscuits. Add ice cream and you've got perfection!

Blackberry Filling

  • In a medium bowl, mix all the filling ingredients.
    Blackberry, sugar, brown sugar and starch in a bowl.

Cobbler Topping

  • Combine all the dry ingredients together in a separate large bowl. Whisk mixture to combine.

  • Cut in or grate butter into the dry ingredients. Combine together until you achieve course crumbles.

  • Combine buttermilk with vanilla extract. Add it to the flour mixture. Stir to combine until lumpy.

  • Place blackberry filling on the bottom of a 9 inch baking pan.

  • Top off cobbler with about 6 to 8 spoonfuls of the topping and sprinkle with the 3 tbsp of sugar.

  • Bake at 375°F for about 40 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with your favorite ice cream.
