Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion diced
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 large bell pepper diced
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 large avocado
  • 6 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tbsp herbs garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat a deep skillet over medium heat with oil. Add the diced onions, and cook until soft and translucent.

  • Add ground turkey to the onions and crumble while it's cooking. Mix in the garlic, bell pepper and season with chili powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Dice the avocado into small pieces and finely dice the bell pepper.

  • Spoon the cooked ground turkey on a lettuce leaf. Top it with bell pepper and avocado. Sprinkle on fresh herbs and enjoy!
