Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Tenders

Air fryer chicken tenders are a savior when it comes to satiating a craving for takeout. Instead of going through the drive-thru, stay home and make your own tenders with half the fat and no guilt!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Whisk an egg in a small bowl. In a separate bowl, combine salt with pepper. Cut chicken into 2 inch pieces.

  • Dip chicken into the egg mixture.

  • Follow by covering all sides with seasoned bread crumbs.

  • Spray the air fryer basket with oil. Place the chicken on the inside, leaving some space in between each one.

  • Air fry at 390 °F for about 4 minutes and turn it over. Air fry for another 5 minutes or so, depending on the size of the chicken pieces.

  • Serve chicken tenders with your favorite sauce or simply ketchup. Enjoy!
