  • Prepare all ingredients for the recipe.
    Ingredients on the table including; 2 jars of tuna, slices of bread, a bowl with mayo, a bowl with cut up purple onions, a bowl with dijon mustard, romaine lettuce and salt and pepper
  • Combine together tuna with mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Break pieces of the tuna into small pieces.

  • Place sliced onion pieces on one of the sides of the bread. Top the onions with tomato slices.
    3 slices of bread, 2 with onions and tomatoes on them and one with nothing on it
  • Top it off with the tuna mixture, cover with lettuce leave and a bread slice.
    4 slices of bread, 2 with tomatoes, onions and the tuna mixture on them and 2 with nothing on them
  • Slice sandwich in half and serve it right away.
