Salisbury Steak Recipe

Patties 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef 2 large eggs 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs 3 garlic cloves minced 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp salt adjust to taste 2 tbsp oil avocado or olive, for frying Patties Place all beef patty ingredients together in a bowl. Use your hands to mix everything together.
Divide the meat mixture into 8 equal parts. Shape each one into an oval shape.
Preheat a deep skillet on medium-high heat with oil. Brown each patty on all sides and set aside.
Sauce In the same pan, sauté onions until lightly golden.
Add the mushrooms and continue cooking until they are golden.
Add in the butter and flour and cook for a few minutes. Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until the liquid is perfectly creamy.
Add beef patties to the sauce, and simmer for 5 more minutes. Serve immediately and enjoy.
