Caprese Salad Skewers

These Caprese salad skewers have all the goods: sweet cherry tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, fresh basil, and tangy balsamic glaze. Buon appetito!

Ingredients

  • 24 cherry tomatoes
  • 12 mini mozzarella balls
  • 24 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic reduction for drizzling
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt adjust to preference
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper optional

Instructions

  • For each skewer, thread the ingredients in this order: cherry tomato, basil leaf, mozzarella ball, another basil leaf, and another cherry tomato.
    Skewer with tomato basil and mozzarella.
  • Arrange the skewers on a serving platter. Drizzle the skewers with extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic reduction.
    Skewer with tomato basil and mozzarella and oil with balsamic on top.
  • Sprinkle sea salt and freshly ground black pepper on the skewers to taste. Serve the skewers immediately, or chill them until ready to serve.
