Boil Rinse the beets under cold water in the sink and slice off the greens.
Bring a pot of salted water to boil.
Boil the beets for 30-40 minutes depending on the size.
Cool the beets, rinse them under cold water, and peel the skins off. Slice the beets into bite-sized pieces.
