Wash the baby potatoes and pat them dry with a paper towel.
Slice the potatoes into halves and season them with salt and oil. Toss until evenly coated.
Cut a large piece of foil and place the potatoes on top of it in a single layer. Cover with another similar sized piece of foil and cinch the edges to create a pocket.
Preheat the grill to 400°F. Place the potatoes on the grill and cook them for 15 minutes.
Open up the foil and flip the potatoes so they brown on the other side. Grill for 10 more minutes or until potatoes are crispy and fully cooked.
