Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Recipe

This chicken broccoli alfredo is made with juicy chicken and fresh broccoli tossed in homemade alfredo sauce. It's so rich in flavor — you’ll be coming back for more.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil to cook chicken
  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp pepper adjust to taste
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb broccoli sliced into equal-size pieces
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves pressed
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated

Instructions

  • Slice the chicken into evenly sized strips. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and sauté the chicken in an oiled, large pan or skillet until golden brown. Set aside.

  • Cook pasta in a pot according to package instructions minus 2 minutes. Toward the last 3 minutes, add broccoli to the boiling pasta. Cook. Drain and set aside. (Don't forget to set some water aside for the sauce.)

  • To the same pan/skillet, combine heavy whipping cream, butter, pressed garlic, and grated parmesan cheese. Cook the sauce over medium-low heat until smooth.

  • Add the cooked fettuccine, broccoli, and chicken back into the sauce. Toss everything together until well-combined and remove from heat.
