Pour the water into the base of the air fryer, underneath the tray or basket. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and allow it to run for 3-5 minutes at that temperature before adding the cabbage.
Peel the outer leaves of the cabbage head, then slice the remaining head into 6-8 uniform wedges on a cutting board.
Drizzle olive oil over the cabbage steaks and brush it on evenly. Sprinkle the seasonings on top. Flip the steak over and do the same on the other side.
Place the cabbage steaks on the air fryer tray. Avoid overcrowding the steaks; cook in batches if needed.
Air fry the steaks for 8-12 minutes, or until they are as soft as you prefer. Carefully remove the cabbage steaks and serve warm. Enjoy!
