Cobbler Filling

  • Clean and slice strawberries into bite sized pieces. Place them in a bowl with the remaining filling ingredients. Stir to combine, set aside.

Cobbler Topping

  • In a medium size bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients.

  • Grate or cut the butter into the dry ingredients. Combine until the mixture is crumbly.

  • In a separate dish, combine the buttermilk with the vanilla extract. Pour the buttermilk mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir to combine everything together.

  • Place the strawberry filling on the bottom of a 9 inch pan.

  • Place 6-8 spoonfuls of dough on top. Sprinkle with sugar.
