  • Trim and cut brussels sprouts. Place in a bowl.
  • Toss brussels sprouts with oil and garlic parsley salt.
  • Place seasoned brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  • Air fry at 380°F for 6 minutes, remove the basket and toss. Air fry for 6 more minutes, or until they are golden brown. Serve right away.

How to Store Cooked Brussels Sprouts

  • Refrigerator: Store leftover brussels sprouts in an airtight container. When stored properly, they should keep for 3-4 days.
  • Freezer: I wouldn’t recommend freezing your brussels sprouts. They don’t tend to reheat well and turn to mush.

FAQ

How do you reheat brussel sprouts in the air fryer?

To reheat, preheat your air fryer to 380°F. Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side, toss and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Your brussels should return to their perfect, crispy state!

What toppings can you add to air fryer brussels sprouts?

Once your brussels sprouts come out of the air fryer, you can up level them by tossing them with some shaved manchengo, fried shallots or bacon bits.

How do you keep brussel sprouts from getting soggy?

The big mistake many people make is boiling their brussels sprouts. For a long time, many chefs thought you needed to parboil your brussels before roasting them. This will almost always lead to soggy and mushy sprouts. For the best results, simply air fry or roast them to get that soft center and crunchy exterior.

Should you wash brussels sprouts before cooking?

After slicing your brussels sprouts, toss any dirty, dry or browning outer leaves. Then, give your sprouts a rinse under cold water in a colander. Pat your brussels sprouts dry with a paper towel to remove any excess water that could prevent them from crisping up in the oven.
